Vyacheslav Tykhonov graduated from the Kharkiv National University (KNU) in 1980, specialty “Physics”
From 1985 he ia a researcher at the “Radotechnical systems ” Department (KIRE)
From 1992 he is a PhD candidate.
From 1997 he is an Assistant Professor of the “Radotechnical systems ” Department (KIRE)
From 1998 he is a Senior Lecturer of the “Radotechnical systems ” Department (KIRE),
2008 – Doctor of Physical and mathematical sciences
2009 – professor of “Radioelectronic systems ” Department (KNURE),
Since 2018 he is a Full Professor of “Communication Networks” Department (KNURE).
Educational activity
Teaches the following courses:
- Basics of the Scientific Research,
- Data Processing Technologies,
- Mobile Radio Communication Systems,
- Methods of the Multimedia Networks Research.
Research activities
Area of scientific interests:
- models of non-Gaussian processes;
- signal recognition;
- the fight against interference in radio engineering and information networks;
- analysis of stock data.

Has over 90 publications, including 3 inventor’s certificate, 1 collective monographs.
