The Department of Media Engineering and Information Radio-Electronic Systems hosted a round table between members of the project group to develop an educational and scientific training program for the third educational and scientific level of higher education in specialty 172 – Telecommunications and Radio Engineering, graduate students and stakeholders. selective components and proposals on the content of disciplines that relate to current trends in the professional field. According to the results of the round table, the developers of the educational and scientific program took into account all the constructive proposals from graduate students majoring in 172 – Telecommunications and Radio Engineering and stakeholders.

On the third Saturday of May, Ukraine celebrates the professional holiday of scientists – Science Day, established by Presidential Decree of 14.02.1997 № 145/97. This year it falls on May 15.

Graduate students of the MIRES department will hold a lecture on 14.05.21 at 15.00 on “Methods of detection and recognition of unmanned aerial vehicles”, timed to the Day of Science.

On May 24, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted the On-line NURE Open Day.  This is the first time in the history of the university, when an event of this scale took place online.  During the event, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the university, learn about the peculiarities of admission 2020, watch presentations of faculties and specialities and ask questions to representatives of the admissions committee.  Video from the Open Day “On-line NURE” can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfPck305caQ.

On 28 may the Department of Media Engineering and Information Radioelectronic Systems of KNURE in collaboration with Telecentre of KNURE had started series of master classes “Telemagica”. We had invited pupils from school 117. Our students introduced schoolboys into basics of journalism, camera footage and video editing.
